This tea was made in Yunnan province, from bushes that are cultivars traditionally made into Oolong and grown in Taiwan (ruanzhi, 软枝.) So you have this amazing jumble of floral, high oolong notes, deep resonant black tea bass, and a body that is ever-changing, always pleasing. The cup is just knock-down, drag-out delicious. I recommend playing with steeping temperatures- it’s almost a completely different cup when you steep it at 190F vs 212F, but both are yummy cups.
